About Just Jordie's
I knew I was hooked on canning when I put my first jar into the kettle. It
was a very hot August day and my mother-in-law was teaching me how to "put
up" peaches.
Later, while Bob and I were managing and living on cattle ranches, we
discovered the need for a special seasoning to spice up the taste of elk,
beef and venison. So our first product, Just Jordie's Buckaroo Spice, was
an innovation created from necessity.
Living 100 miles from a grocery store, stocking up became a necessity.
Growing our own produce and preserving them the day they were picked, gave
me a great sense of satisfaction.
I have been "putting up" quality foods
for over twenty years and enjoy it as much as on that first day.
